Big Announcement!

You might have noticed that the shop has slimmed down quite a bit and there is a major sale going on.

On November 25th I will be closing Sassy Pink Boutique and Amy Sheppard Web Studio.

I will continue running Mammalicious Finds with my fabulous team of reviewers. While I have really enjoyed running SPB and ASWS it's taking too much time away from my family. Family is first!

I'm excited for a new chapter to begin and who knows maybe in the future I'll open another online retail shop or brick and mortar store.

EEKS a zipper!

I picked out the stash & dash pattern from Amy Butler and some nice Michael Miller fabric.

I decided on the largest bag, the toiletry pattern. I'd like to say I whipped this up in no time at all, but it didn't really happen that way.

There was the first mistake of sewing the lining totally closed and leaving no hole to turn the bag right side out (that's the second bag/purse I've done that with). I think I'm concentrating so hard on sewing straight I forget...lol Then the zipper...ahem...well let's just say it zips open and closed and it is sewn pretty straight. The sides where the zipper begins and ends...well not so great but hey at least it works!

New Sewing Project

I have a new sewing project in the works. It's pretty small so it probably won't take too long. Here's a fabric sneaky-peek. Pardon the bad photo, I took it with my crackberry.

By the way the New Moon soundtrack is SWEET! TwiTards are going to love it. Did I mention I have midnight showing tickets? OH goodie...can't wait!!
